Cara Koolmees
Originating from California, Cara has been painting watercolors for many years. Her academic art training includes study at Long Beach State University, Cerritos College and numerous workshops. She has exhibited and sold paintings in California for many years before moving to Northern Utah eight years ago. She continues to exhibit and sell locally.
"I look to find the exaggerated color, pattern, and shape in my environment, paying no heed to traditional spatial elements. My paintings interpret gesture and rhythmic movement that reflect the whimsical personality of each subject."
